Welcome to Embody Daily
Thanks for stopping by! I'm Katie, I started Embody Daily on YouTube in 2017 when I began sharing my journey of overcoming alcohol addiction following The Sinclair Method (TSM). TSM is a scientifically-proven method for unlearning alcohol addiction through medication assisted treatment. TSM has been an absolute transformative experience for me – allowing me to give up alcohol completely in September 2018. Today, I work both professionally and personally to spread the word about this method, and help others along the way.
What is The Sinclair Method (TSM)?
The Sinclair Method is a treatment for alcohol addiction that uses a technique called pharmacological extinction - the use of an opiate blocker to turn habit-forming behaviors into habit-erasing behaviors. The effect returns a person's craving for alcohol to its pre-addiction state.
Meet our Founder
Hello! I am Katie Lain
An advocate and mentor for The Sinclair Method for overcoming alcohol dependence. I first learned about TSM through Claudia Christian's famous TedTalk and after having battling with alcohol for 10 years, I was in disbelief to learn that there was a medication assisted approach to overcoming alcohol addiction. It felt like a miracle and exactly what I had been searching for.
I started my own TSM journey in August 2017 and in less than one year I had fully overcome my alcohol dependence. I've now landed in a place I never thought I would be–sober, with zero desire for alcohol and a genuine preference for sparking water over wine. I feel gratitude every day for this change and I have made it my mission to share my story to help others transform their relationship to alcohol with TSM.
Your kind donations help me to spread the word about The Sinclair Method enabling more people start their recovery journey.

For many, alcohol has been intertwined in their lives for so long that making this change can have a ripple effect on many aspects of their lives. Over time, TSM'ers work on so many aspects of themselves–including learning new drinking habits (and breaking the old), discovering new (or rediscovering old) hobbies, identifying self-destructive patterns of behavior, building up healthier coping mechanisms and getting to know themselves in a totally new way.
